Training

USU’s CGHE maintains a comprehensive training curriculum to serve stakeholders both within and relevant to the GHE enterprise. This includes virtual and in-person course offerings to: 1) Enhance the readiness of GHE implementers, planners, and leaders throughout the Joint Force to support Combatant Command (CCMD) strategic goals through the effective conduct of GHE operations; 2) increase awareness among line leaders and non-medical personnel of GHE’s value to achieving campaign strategic goals and objectives and explote best avenues for collaboration; and 3) empower greater coordination and alignment among DoD components, and interagency partners engaged in GHE operations.

USU CGHE's training supports the GHE capability requirements of the Military Health System, Joint Force, various U.S. Government (USG) agencies, and partner nations (PNs). CGHE actively conducts training sessions targeting leaders, health professionals, and military organizations. These sessions emphasize the global health implications within national security, security cooperation, and the complexities of GHE planning, implementation, and evaluation. Recognizing the dynamic nature of DoD GHE, CGHE engages in continuous improvement of its courses in order to stay up to date and ensure its courses meet the needs of the Joint Force.
