CGHE Programs and Operational Support

CGHE provides support, services and guidance to the Department of Defense (DoD), the United States Government (USG) and international stakeholders in the planning and execution of global health engagements (GHEs), the innovation of new and more effective programs and the dissemination of knowledge and best practices across the DoD GHE enterprise.

Through CGHE, Geographic Combatant Commands, Service Component Commands and other DoD and US Government (USG) agencies are able to tap into a network of global health experts who can assist in shaping more effective and sustainable GHE activities.

In addition to subject matter expertise support, the division develops and executes a range of global health engagement programs on behalf of, and in partnership with, DoD and USG entities to meet identified needs and support US security cooperation and national security objectives. We focus on sustainable, capacity-building health activities that can demonstrate true impact for

partner nations and significant added value to the DoD and USG.

These programs include:

The African Peacekeeping Rapid Response Partnership

Combatant Commands Disease Surveillance Coordination Project
